Locations County hub

Web design in Surrey.

We build websites for owner-run Surrey businesses and keep running them afterwards, for one flat fee. £49, £79 or £200 a month, £0 setup, 30-day money back, and the domain is yours from day one.

Surrey, South East England Twelve town pages, one county hub Hosting, edits and Google Business Profile included

One fee, and the site stays run

The monthly fee is the whole arrangement. It pays for the build, then for everything that usually gets left behind once a build is invoiced: hosting on Cloudflare, the domain and SSL, every edit you ask for, the Google Business Profile, and the on-page SEO. The services page sets it out line by line. There is no separate maintenance retainer and no invoice per change.

We work this way because of what happens under the usual model. A Surrey trades firm or shop pays a few thousand pounds for a build, the designer moves on, and three years later the site still shows a price list from launch day because changing it costs a phone call, a quote and a wait. Folding the upkeep into the price is the only structure where the site staying accurate is our job rather than a favour you have to keep asking for.

What a small business site in Surrey has to do is not complicated. Load quickly on a phone. Say plainly what you do and which towns you take work in. Turn interest into an enquiry in one tap. Stay truthful when your prices, your hours or your services move. The rest is presentation, and presentation comes second.

Local search in Surrey happens town by town

Almost nobody hires a plumber, a landscaper or an accountant for the county. They hire one for their town, and they search that way: the service word plus Epsom, plus Woking, plus Redhill. Google leans on the searcher's location too, so a search made in Guildford and the same search made in Oxted, at opposite ends of the county, return different maps and often different pages. A single page that lists every Surrey town in one paragraph competes in none of those contests.

That is why this page is a hub rather than the whole story. Each of the twelve towns below has its own page, written about that town, and this page exists to join them up and to answer the county-wide question honestly. It is also why we will not mass-produce town pages for a client. Google's spam policies name that pattern, doorway pages, and sites get buried for it. Where you genuinely work in a town and there is something true to say, a page earns its place. Where there is not, we say no. How we approach local search covers the method.

The other half of every local result is the map block, which is ranked from Google Business Profiles rather than from websites. For a service business covering several towns from one base, the profile is often the bigger lever, and running it well is unglamorous work: honest categories, accurate hours, real photographs through the year, every review answered. That work is included in the fee, not sold as an add-on.

The twelve Surrey towns we cover in depth

Surrey sits directly south of London, with the M25 crossing the county and the North Downs running through the middle of it. Working across it, we group the towns into four corners. West Surrey holds Guildford and Woking, the county's two biggest centres. North Surrey means the Elmbridge towns of Esher, Cobham and Weybridge, closest in to London. Mid Surrey is Epsom, Leatherhead and Dorking, which sit in a line down the A24. East Surrey, the corner nearest our own base, is Reigate, Redhill, Caterham and Oxted. We write pages for towns outside the county too, such as Winchester in Hampshire. Each name below goes to that town's own page.

West Surrey

The two biggest centres in the county.

North Surrey

The Elmbridge towns closest to London.

Mid Surrey

Three towns in a line down the A24.

East Surrey

Our nearest corner of the county.

A worked Surrey example: Sameday Jetwash in Reigate

Sameday Jetwash is a one-van pressure-washing business working out of Reigate, taking driveway and patio jobs across Surrey and the bordering edges of Sussex and Kent. It is a business we run ourselves, not an arm's-length paying client, and we say that plainly. The old site was a WordPress build from 2021: eight seconds to first paint on a 4G phone, the contact form three scrolls down an inner page, the phone number trapped in a footer image nobody could tap, and a single "areas we cover" paragraph doing the work of the town pages that did not exist.

We rebuilt it in five working days. One page per service, one page per town the business actually serves, a single contact form that emails enquiries straight in, static hosting on an edge network, and the Google Business Profile claimed and brought up to date alongside the launch. The site runs on the Growth plan. Because the business is ours, we publish its unedited Search Console data: clicks grew from 125 to 9,126 in 90 days, most of that from two hosepipe-ban guides riding the Surrey hosepipe ban; excluding the hosepipe guides entirely, the rest of the site grew from 125 clicks to 703 clicks. The full case study is here, spike and all.

The second Surrey site is a client rather than our own business. Dirty South Power Wash cleans driveways, patios, roofs, gutters and solar panels from a base in Horley, working across Surrey and into Sussex. Its nine-page builder site became 90 static pages on 3 August 2026, and we moved the domain and all eleven Microsoft 365 email records without breaking the mail. The Dirty South Power Wash case study publishes month one exactly as Search Console records it: 10,854 impressions, weekly impressions up from 2,612 to 6,157, and 13 clicks, because 91.8 per cent of those impressions are still at position 21 or worse. It is deliberately an early write-up, and it is the honest shape of the first four weeks.

The shape of that job transfers to most of the county. A large share of Surrey's small firms are exactly this: one or two people, a van or a small premises, customers who search by town on a phone and ring one of the first results they trust. The mechanics of serving them are the same whether the trade is pressure washing in Reigate, landscaping around Dorking or electrical work in Woking. The towns change, the photographs change, the mechanics do not.

What it costs

Three tiers, all published, none of them "from". No discovery call stands between you and a number, and a business in Weybridge pays what a business in Caterham pays.

Tier Per month Edits included Who it suits
Essentials £49 Up to 2 a month, about two working days A small site that needs to be live, fast and kept accurate
Growth £79 Up to 4 a month, next working day A bigger site with monthly content and local search work behind it
Pro £200 Up to 8 a month, same working day Weekly publishing and the fastest turnaround on changes

Setup is £0 on every tier. Paying a year up front takes 10% off. After the first month it rolls monthly and you can cancel at any point. If inside the first 30 days it is not what you asked for, every month you have paid comes back and the domain stays yours. The pricing page has the full breakdown of each tier.

If you are comparing this with paying once for a build, we have published the working: what a small business website costs in the UK in 2026 and the five-year arithmetic of pay-monthly against one-off. Both pieces admit the cases where a one-off build is the better buy, because there are some.

What we do not do

Declining those five is what keeps the entry price at £49 a month. Any outfit offering the lot for a small monthly fee is skimming all of it.

After launch

Changes are an email in plain English. No CMS login, no ticket queue, no per-edit bill. On Essentials a change lands in about two working days, on Growth the next working day, on Pro the same working day. A price rise, a new service, revised hours, photographs from last week's job: all of it is just an email. Once a quarter we audit the site properly for speed, accessibility, broken links and anything Google has flagged, and on Growth and Pro we also write content every month. The test we hold ourselves to is that two years in, the site still tells the truth about the business.

Questions

What Surrey owners ask us

What does a website cost for a Surrey business?

Three published tiers: £49, £79 or £200 a month, all with £0 setup. The fee covers the build, hosting, the domain, SSL, the edits you ask for, Google Business Profile work and on-page SEO. Pay a year up front for 10% off. Inside 30 days we refund every month paid and you keep the domain. The price is the same in Guildford as it is in Oxted, and the same as it is anywhere else in the UK.

Do you cover the whole of Surrey, or just the twelve towns listed?

The whole county, and the rest of the UK beyond it. The twelve town pages exist because those are the places we have written properly about, not because they mark a boundary. If your business is in Farnham, Godalming, Camberley, Horley or anywhere else in Surrey, the answer is still yes and the price is identical.

My firm works across several Surrey towns. Do I need a page for each one?

Only where a page can say something true and specific about your work in that town. Ten pages that repeat each other with the town name swapped are treated by Google as doorway pages, and they can drag the whole site down. The honest version is a page for each town where you genuinely take jobs, describing the work you do there, and no page at all for towns you merely drive through. We would rather build you six strong pages than sixteen thin ones.

Can you get my business into the Google map results across Surrey?

Nobody can promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. The map block is ranked from Google Business Profiles on relevance, distance and prominence, and distance means a searcher in Woking and a searcher in Caterham see different maps for the same words. What we do is the work that moves those factors: right categories, accurate hours, services filled in, fresh photographs, reviews answered, and a website that agrees with the profile on every detail. That work is part of the monthly fee, not an extra.

Have you built for a Surrey business before?

Yes. Sameday Jetwash is a one-van pressure-washing firm working out of Reigate, covering Surrey and the bordering edges of Sussex and Kent, and it is a business we run ourselves. We rebuilt its slow WordPress site in five working days: a page per service, a page per town it serves, one contact form that emails enquiries straight in, and the Google Business Profile claimed and brought up to date at launch. Because the business is ours, we publish its unedited Search Console data: clicks grew from 125 to 9,126 in 90 days, most of that from two hosepipe-ban guides riding the Surrey hosepipe ban. The full case study is on the site.

Do you meet Surrey clients in person?

We can. We are based in East Dulwich in south London, so the eastern side of the county, around Reigate, Redhill, Caterham and Oxted, is a short drive for us. In practice most owners choose a 30-minute video call for the brief because it is easier to fit around a working day, and either suits us.

Do I own the website and the domain?

Both, outright, from the first day. The domain sits in your name, and the code, content and design files belong to you. If you ever leave, we hand over a working copy within seven working days and help point the domain wherever you want. No exit fee, nothing withheld.

How quickly can the site go live?

Around a week for most Surrey businesses. A 30-minute call to brief it, a draft inside two working days, a round or two of changes, then launch. The delay, when there is one, is nearly always photographs and final wording waiting on the client side, so having those ready shortens it.

If you run a business anywhere in Surrey, send us your web address and your Google listing. We will look at both on a phone, the way a customer in your town does, and reply with what they cannot find out about you in ten seconds. No charge for that, and no obligation follows it.

Or ask from right here

A person reads it and replies within two working days. We use what you send here only to answer you. Privacy notice.
